Making Of Cakes

I wanted to make this Topsy Turvy Cake for My Neice for her Sweet 16th Birthday Party last week. I wanted to make sure that she had a great great party. It was so so much fun to make.
Of course it wasn't easy. We (meaning Michael and I) had a really hard time trying to figure out how to cut it just right. We didn't know if we should cut it before I put the filling in. Well I cut it first and it was bad. It was slipping all over the place. So I now know to do it before I put filling in the middle. And I know to make the circles and the balls the night before and cover them. Isn't great to learn new things. Next time I will but the top piece on the right way. YES I made a big boo boo. Oh well ! I love it anyway. I hope you all like.

Good job chantelly! I think I've seen them put a stabilizer in the middle of cakes like this on food network. Maybe that would help keep the cake from slipping. It looks awesome! I'm jealous!
